Sofa set, Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen

Rare sofa set “Minerva”, designed by the duo Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen and produced by France & Søn in Denmark in the 1950s/1960s.

The set consists of a three-seater sofa, a two-seater sofa and a corner table. All parts are made of solid teak wood, the coffee table has a rattan table top. The sofa's chrome-plated metal armrests are interchangeable, which allows you to place the corner according to the needs of your room (both on the left and right). Since all modules are technically separate, they can also be placed completely separately in the room. If desired, both armrests can be placed on one sofa, leaving the other module for use as a stylish daybed (daybed).

The entire set is in excellent condition considering its age. The wooden frame has been cleaned and maintained. The fabric appears to be original and very well preserved.
